Terms & conditions

These terms apply to every order placed through our webshop. They're written to be read, not to hide things in. Questions? Email us at info@amicetravel.nl.

Prices and offers

  • All prices include VAT.
  • Shipping is free in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany.
  • Obvious errors in prices or product information don't bind us, but we'll always contact you before doing anything about an order.
  • Offers and discount codes apply only within their stated period and conditions, and can't be combined unless stated otherwise.

Your order

  • Your order is complete once you've finished checkout and received our order confirmation by email.
  • If a product unexpectedly turns out to be unavailable, we'll let you know as soon as possible and refund anything you've already paid.

Payment

  • You can pay with the methods shown at checkout, such as iDEAL, Klarna and major cards.
  • Payment through Klarna is subject to Klarna's own terms.

Shipping and delivery

  • The Netherlands and Belgium: delivered within 1 to 2 business days.
  • Germany: delivery can take 3 to 4 business days.
  • Delivery times are indications, not deadlines, but we'll always keep you informed if something takes longer.
  • The risk of loss or damage passes to you once the order has been delivered.

Returns and the right of withdrawal

  • You can return your order within 14 days of delivery, without giving a reason.
  • Items must be unused, undamaged and in their original packaging.
  • Return shipping is arranged and paid by you.
  • We refund the full amount within 14 days of receiving and checking your return.
  • Personalised items, such as engraved pieces with your initials, are made for you and can't be returned. One exception: cases with a customised handle colour can still be returned.

Guarantee

  • Cases from the Original collection come with a lifetime guarantee against material and manufacturing defects.
  • Bags carry a 1-year guarantee and accessories a 6-month guarantee.
  • The full terms, including what's not covered, are on our Guarantee page.
  • This guarantee comes on top of your statutory rights as a consumer and never limits them.

Ownership

Products remain our property until they've been paid for in full.

Liability

  • We're liable for what the law says we're liable for, and nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer.
  • We're not liable for damage caused by improper use, or for indirect damage such as loss of travel enjoyment, missed flights or consequential costs, except where the law says otherwise.

Complaints

  • Something not right? Email us at info@amicetravel.nl with your order number and a short description.
  • We'll respond within 24 hours on business days, and we aim to resolve every complaint within 14 days.

Applicable law

  • Dutch law applies to these terms and every order.
  • Disputes will be brought before the competent court in the Netherlands, unless mandatory consumer law points to the court of your own country of residence.
